Proceeds will provide educational materials for the Nature Store in the new Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center to enhance the educational, interpretive, and conservation mission of the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge.
Day Sail: The Detroit River Under the Microscope
Families, come step aboard the 77’ schooner, raise the anchor, hoist the sails and discover a new addition to the food web – microplastics!
The ISEA Educators will have you catching samples and using microscopes, and will let you try your hand at the wheel of the ship. An afternoon you’ll surely remember!

Evening Sail
An evening to remember aboard the 77’ schooner – you’ll participate in the raising of the sails and learn more about the issue of microplastics with the evening’s topic – the Detroit River Under the Microscope.Join us at Elizabeth Park Chateau.
Enjoy a BBQ dinner & cash bar (4:30 – 6:00 pm) before setting sail.
Inland Seas schooner: 6:15 – 8:15 pm
Tickets are $100.00 per person.
